That Which is Past, That Which is Now is a process piece in 4 motions (writing, washing, transformation, weaving). It explored the cyclical patterns of change throughout our self, as with nature, through ritualistic actions. The death of what we were, the letting go, and the creating something that again will die to keep moving forward. The piece is about the light, and dark, within ourselves and the necessity of both. I chose to create this piece in Iceland, as an environment which has long periods of darkness, and long periods of light in perpetual exchange.

Full presentation still in progress. The work, my travels, and various photography were documented on my blog, Project-A.tumblr.com
